It might not be the most spectacular piece of stone in the climbing world, but gosh darn it, it’s home and it ought to be celebrated.
That’s what we’re setting out to do with Granite Creek Climbing – celebrate the places and regions you’re proud to call home as a climber. We’re making apparel with designs inspired by a fierce love for local climbing.
Why
Granite Creek started with a simple love for climbing and the outdoors. That quickly grew into a thirst for exploring all the rock in our home state, and we soon realized that Minnesota has some pretty awesome climbing.
We started Granite Creek Climbing Collective for two big reasons:
1. Share a love for local climbing and help others do the same.
2. Use apparel to help support local climbing areas and the climbing community that we love.
The long-term vision is to help protect and conserve local climbing areas and support the community with each piece of Granite Creek gear purchased. Part of our profits go to local organizations that do those two things.
Granite Creek Climbing Collective was started by two MN natives, Kyle Ellefson and Conner Kranz.
As climbers, we wanted to share our love for local rock. Our designs and apparel are a small reminder of climbing in our home state and why it’s so important to us.
