“Finger cracks can lead to some of the gnarliest climbing days out there. They rip skin. Make you bleed. And let us not forget the potential to take a fall while two fingers are jammed in a diamond-sharp anorthosite crack.
But YEEHAW! Ask any crack climbing enthusiast and they’ll eagerly tell you that finger cracks are worth every bit of the pain.
I took a trip with @logan.dop up to Section 13 last spring. That strong boy nailed half the routes clean in a day…one of them was the area classic Digit Damage (5.11a). Logan on-sighted the route! As he clipped the anchor, he gave a loud whoop and a 🤙 .
